There is a great need to strengthen employment in Fosie, Malmö. That is why Stena Fastigheter, MKB Fastigheter AB and Skanska have started the job hub ”Nästet” – a place for networking, job searching and personal development.

What challenges – short and long-term – do the initiators behind Nästet see in achieving better matching and higher employment in Fosie specifically, and in Malmö generally (as unemployment rate in Malmö is around 12%)?

• Will Nästet be the beginning of a long-term local presence and job matching?
• What other actors need to get on board for it to be successful?
• Can this serve as a role model that can be implemented in other places in the municipality or around Sweden?
